Eclectic Elements

This is the year I have set a goal to use my precuts and buy a limited amount of new yardage.  This is the first quilt finish of 2017.  I used the charm pack (5") squares from the Eclectic Elements by Jim Holtz line. They were fun precuts to use.  I have the fabric for the borders and sashings in my stash.  The quilt finishes at approximately 67" x 76".

The pattern is called Four Patch Lattice from the Missouri Star Quilt's book "BLOCK" (Holiday Volume 3 Issue 4).  I really enjoy watching the You Tube tutorials by Missouri Star Quilt Company.  I would advise anyone who would like to make quilts or sewing projects with simple and easy instructions to take a look at MSQ.

You can see the lattice effect.

This is a close up of the fabric in Eclectic Elements.

There were 2 squares left over from the charm packs.  Of course this one became the label.

My cute granddaughter had to try the quilt out during the photo shoot.

I was hoping to have this quilt done last week but headaches were slowing my pace.  I spent all afternoon yesterday pushing through on the machine quilting.  Finished the binding this afternoon.  Could use a massage right about now.

Enjoy your crafting whatever it may be.
