Country Home

Things are a little out of whack with the COVID-19 virus happening.  It's good to do something that feels normal.  Finished this quilt 04/19/2020 and I really like it.  It feels like comfort and home.  I always stitch prayers into my projects.  Prayers that the user of the quilt (or project) will feel comfort and love when they use it.

The center squares and the light floral background fabric were gifted to me by a co-worker (thank you Francine Millet Dunsing).  The brown fabrics came from my fat quarter stash and the border from my yardage stash.

The quilt came out to be about 86" x 86".  I backed it in cozy flannel and quilted it with an overall stipple (though not a true stipple as I did cross over stitch lines every now and again).  I called the quilt "Country Home".

About 86" x 86"
