Baby Carrier Cover

Since I am not a sports fan (at least not watching it on TV), tonight was the perfect night to cut out & sew a baby carrier cover for a baby shower this weekend.  I had purchased the fabric at Joann's Fabric store in St. George about a year ago & decided today is the day I was going to use it.  I had the stuffed elephants & thought I would just attach them to the handle straps.  Only took about 2 hours.

Jolie's Quilt Finished

Just finished putting the label on a quilt for a little girl's birthday.  Finally decided a simple design would be the best way to highlight the pink leopard fabric.  The green leopard print really pops as the outer border & of course the backing had to have a little bit of 'pop' too.
The quilt measures approximately 84" x 93".  Hope Jolie likes it.

Pink leopard center with green leopard letters; pink peace/flower fabric next; then turquoise leopard print; then cream solid; and of course green leopard for the outer border.

Used "Curlz" font in my Open Office program for her initials.  I don't draw very well, but I do love how the letters turned out.

Machine quilted with one of my patterns that I call "Oodles of Doodles".  Every so often there is a word quilted in the pattern.  Jolie's Mom gave some descriptive words that remind her of Jolie.  I may have thrown one or two of my own descriptive words in there.

Those who know me well know that I don't really like a plain backing.  That's the one place you should be able to have a little fun!
