Sweet Berry Chocolate

OK.  I do not know where September and October went to!  Between work, housework, gardening, and canning the past two months have flown by.

Finished my newest quilt which I call Sweet Berry Chocolate.  I used the left over 10" squares that I had left over from another project.  Made half square triangles, and designed pinwheel and chevron blocks.  Had just enough of the blue but needed to add a couple of squares using pink polka dots to make the quilt as large as I did.  It is approximately 78" by 89".  Used the last of the brown flannel that was on one of my bolts but lacked about 10", so, here came the last of the pink polka dot fabric.  I really like the quilt.  My granddaughter wanted to make a fort out of it.  She sat under the table as I was sewing the binding on and wanted to keep the quilt for herself.  She has a few quilts already.  Some I made, and some her Mama has made.

The sun was setting so the shadows flowed across the quilt.  I like it.

Pinwheel and Chevron blocks.
