I saw this panel and beautiful coordinating fabrics from Timeless Treasures and knew that this would be the fabric to use for our new great granddaughter, Julie Jean. She is a month old today and we cannot wait to see her in real life and hear her little cooing sounds and cuddle her sweet little body in our arms.
The pattern is from Fabric Cafe and is called Ribbons & Bows. I modified the pattern to use additional fabric on the inner border of the panel. I backed it with soft cuddly flannel. The machine quilting pattern is called Love Knot from Urban Elementz using Glide thread in the color Linen.
The quilt is approximately 50" x 60" and is hand bound. Yes, hand bound as my first great grandchild deserves no less.
I will be making 2 more of these quilts which will be for sale. The panel is just too adorable to only make one special quilt.
