Sassy Gypsy Girl

Well, I finally finished my super easy hourglass quilt.  The pattern was modified from one in the Missouri Star Quilt Company's magazine "Block".

This year I am using precut fabric that is in my stash.  In this quilt I used "Sassy" by Sandy Gervais; "Gypsy Girl" by Lily Ashbury; and Bella Solids; all by Moda.  The white, black, and lime green fabric came from my yardage stash.  I machine quilted it in "Kiwi" cotton thread from Connecting Threads.  The backing is cozy flannel from my stash.  I love this quilt.  I made a matching pillow case with the lime green & black fabric.

Finishes at 74" x 74"

Had to have a sassy label for "Sassy Gypsy Girl"

I sewed the quilt using one of my Singer machines.  Always fun to change up machines.

I sewed the binding on with my new find from the thrift store, a lovely Sears Kenmore (which may have belonged to one of my neighbors).  She sews like a dream.

Here's hoping everyone is enjoying their Saturday.  Feels good to have warm weather.

Enjoy the Journey!
