Cuddles Baby Quilt & Craft Night at Relief Society

Finished my little baby quilt.  It is made of 2 1/2" leftover squares.  I may see the bottom of that scrap box one day.  Amazing how many quilts you can make with a small box of squares!  I did run out of the white squares so substituted cream & tan.  I like it!  I called it Cuddles because it is backed and the borders are made of soft flannel.  Next project is waiting in the wings.

Love the little "not white" squares.  It speaks of "Scrappy"!

Machine quilted with meandering swirls.

"Cuddles"

This evening was a craft night at Relief Society.  Re-purposing everyday items.  I chose the used wood flag banner.  Wood was pre-cut and drilled so all we needed to do was paint the boards and stencil the stars.  Attached the wire and of course I had to curl it here and there.
