I received a free pattern called "Heart to Heart" from Accuquilt. It is a wall hanging sized quilt. However, I added an 8" border, corner blocks with kitty appliques, and made it baby sized. I love the flannel fabrics. The kitty fabric was just calling out to me to be in this quilt. As I am not a traditional quilter, I thought, why not use the kitty flannel & make a bright valentine quilt. The hearts & the kitty are both die cuts from Accuquilt. My studio die cutter is one of my favorite sewing tools. The flannel is so soft & comfy, especially on this cold snowy day. I used a font on my Babylock Espire sewing machine to make the label.
