I have been collecting pink fabrics for a few years now and wanted to make a special quilt for my Great Niece, Gemma. Out came some of the pink & coral fabrics to create this quilt. I designed the quilt using my Accuquilt Studio Die Cutter and my new dies for the Studio Chisel & Companion Triangle. I used white for the chisel shape & pink for the triangles as well as the squares surrounding the chisel blocks. This was a fun quilt to design and make for a special little girl.
The quilt turned out to be approximately 79" x 79". I backed it with a soft cuddle flannel in a fun pink & white zebra stripe. I had bound the quilt with bias binding. The machine quilting was done using a Whacky Pansy edge to edge pantograph in pink thread. I had such a good time making this quilt.
I really enjoy designing quilts and hope that Gemma enjoys this one for years to come. It was made with love and prayers in each stitch.
Just adorable!!!
