One on the Frame

The queen sized mystery quilt is on the frame!  Can't wait to take photos to share.  Yard work is definitely cutting into my sewing time.  Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

April Blocks of the Month

Just finished the English paper piecing technique for the Craftsy April blocks of the month.  Those who really know me will tell you that hand sewing is not my favorite thing in the world.  However, I had decided to complete this block of the month course and try new techniques.  The second block for April is called "Sunny with a chance of Hex".  The challenge was to come up with our own design using the hex pieces.  So, when I put the hex pieces down onto the black canvas block I saw a gold fish with seaweed floating in the water.  I will probably never (dare I say that) make a whole quilt using the English paper piecing technique.  I just really like using my machines.  Anyway, hope you all have a great Easter weekend.
